National Landscapes Association partners with Landscape Photographer of the Year

Landscape Photographer of the Year returns with a rallying cry of #LoveLandscapes!

The National Landscapes Association is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Landscape Photographer of the Year (LPOTY) to enhance its efforts in celebrating the UK’s natural landscapes whilst also supporting vital nature restoration work.

The competition, returning for its 17th edition, celebrates the UK’s rich and diverse landscapes, shining a spotlight on their past, present and future.

Both LPOTY and the National Landscapes Association share a deep love for the UK’s diverse landscapes and have common aims to celebrate and protect nature. The collaboration, which will encourage businesses and the public to #LoveLandscapes and pledge their support for nature restoration will use the 10-month long touring winners’ exhibition to establish a nature movement everyone can be part of.

LPOTY is actively seeking partners to support the competition as it evolves through the collaboration with National Landscapes to create a sustainable showcase of the very best photography of UK landscapes, whilst leaving a lasting impact for nature and wellbeing through the #LoveLandscapes initiative. If you are interested in finding out how your business could play a part in both celebrating and restoring UK nature, get in touch.

Speaking about the evolution of the competition, LPOTY founder Charlie Waite said:

“I’m delighted to be working with the National Landscapes, who join our media partners, The Times, and our Exhibition Partners, Network Rail in bringing nature, art and photography to 1.5 million people. I’m excited by the strategic evolution of the competition, that enables the public and businesses to tangibly show their support for nature and nature restoration in an accessible and inclusive way. Ultimately, we know that our glorious landscapes face grave threats through the impacts of climate change, and we’re keen to use our reach, platform and influence to build a movement of people and businesses that can get behind the work of the National Landscapes to preserve and restore these amazing spaces”.

Stay tuned for further updates on how to get involved as we embark on this exciting new chapter!
