Cornwall

Cornwall AONB is unique, it is the only AONB that has 12 separate sections, almost a third of Cornwall, with a UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.

Cotswolds

Designated as an AONB in 1966 and covering 790 square miles, the Cotswolds National Landscape is the biggest national landscape in the UK.

Cranborne Chase

Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs AONB is part of the extensive belt of chalkland which stretches across southern England.

Nidderdale National Landscape was designated as an AONB in 1994 and covers an area of 233 square miles in the heart of North Yorkshire.

Binevenagh

Binevenagh Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty was designated in 2006. This is a re-designation and extension of North Derry AONB, designated in 1966.

Lagan Valley

Focused on the course of the River Lagan, this AONB is within easy access by the large population of the Belfast Urban Area.
