This Working Paper is the first of a series of ‘Where to find?’ Information provided by the National Landscapes Association. 

The UK Government’s third National Adaptation Programme (NAP3), published in July 2023, requires all of England’s protected landscapes to produce Climate Change Adaption plans by 2028. In addition, the Protected Landscapes Targets and Outcomes Framework (PLTOF) sets the ambition for how protected landscapes will contribute towards Goal 7 of the Environmental Improvement Plan 2025 (to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to accelerate to net zero and work to prepare the natural environment for the effects of climate change).  

This Working Paper lists the top ten current information resources for National Landscape teams preparing climate adaptation plans. This is a live paper that will be updated as new information becomes available.
