A collaborative output
The Statement of Commitment from national landscapes Chairs on Climate Action was co-created by chairs from across the network, coordinated by the National Landscapes Association and with inputs from national landscapes Lead Officers.
It is both the evidence that teams and Chairs are ready to act and a call for resourcing national lLandscapes teams to the levels required by the Government's Landscapes Review 2019.
The Statement reiterates the importance of the collaborative approach to address the challenge, not only involving national landscapes teams but also their partners at the local and national levels.
It is currently being signed by national landscapes Chairs - the version presented on this page is the finalised version which was shared with every Lead Officer and Chair. Once signed by all, an updated version will be uploaded here.
