The outdoors is for everyone

Changing places shaped by people

In recognition of current events in the UK, the National Landscapes Association and National Landscapes teams are united in saying that the outdoors is for everyone.

National Landscapes are places so special that they are designated and protected by law for us all, regardless of where we come from, our mother tongue or the colour of our skin.

These places have been changed by waves and generations of people over millennia, all bringing their knowledge, skills and care to bear: working with what nature provides to develop industries, heritage and culture. National Landscapes will continue to change and develop into the future, and all are welcome to cherish and enjoy these places.
