National Landscapes Association joins forces with Wildlife and Countryside Link and The Heritage Alliance

The National Landscapes Association has joined two of the largest coalitions in England, working in partnership for the protection and enhancement of nature and heritage. We are looking forward to working in concert with these umbrella bodies and their respected members to strengthen our work supporting the UK’s National Landscapes and the UK’s natural beauty.

Wildlife and Countryside Link is the largest environment and wildlife coalition in England. We will be joining 84 organisations who are using their voices together for the protection of nature, and who, individually and conjointly, are working to conserve, enhance and access our landscapes, animals, plants, habitats, rivers and seas. Link convenes, supports and leads the UK’s environment and wildlife groups to work together towards more ambitious, long- and short-term actions that will enable nature’s recovery, support sustainable land use and allow our society and economy to put nature at its heart.

The Heritage Alliance is the umbrella body for heritage organisations in England. We will be joining over 200 independent heritage organisations who are supporting community cohesion, embedding the historic environment in forward-looking nature recovery and climate change strategies, harnessing heritage learning and skills, and futureproofing the heritage sector to be more sustainable and resilient. The Heritage Alliance and its members work towards a society in which historic environment and wider cultural heritage is valued, supported, and able to enrich everyone’s lives.

We are eager to get involved in both coalitions, and to contribute to increasing mutual learning and understanding between the work of the coalition members and our membership.
