Moira Sinclair
Trustee
Moira is an experienced arts and charity administrator, whose professional and personal life has been guided by the belief that everyone has the right to access and participate in our rich cultural and natural life.
She is currently Chief Executive of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, an independent grant maker whose vision is for a just society in which everyone, especially young people, can realise their full potential and enjoy fulfilling and creative lives.
Before that she was at Arts Council England for nearly ten years, building partnerships between the cultural sector and wider communities, and was Director of Vital Arts, an arts and health charity. She has also worked in local government, and in theatre and production management.
Moira is Chair of Clore Leadership, a programme that supports cultural leaders to be the best they can, and Chair of the London Mayor’s Cultural Strategy Board. In late 2021, she became a Visiting Leadership Fellow at Exeter University Centre for Leadership. In her spare time, she is often to be found walking in the Chilterns National Landscape, an area of the country she is lucky enough to call home.
