Llŷr considers West Wales as home but has lived and worked in several of Wales’ designated landscapes. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Technology and Management.


Working within Welsh Government over the past 15 years he has focused on environmental policy and in particular landscape policy. He provided secretariat support for the Welsh Government commissioned ‘Review of Designated Landscapes’ led by Prof.Terry Marsden. Llŷr’s recent experience includes work on future agricultural payment reform and coal tip safety policy. He has an in-depth understanding of economics, marketing and grant management.
