With several years of experience in environmental charities, Joe is driven by bringing data to life and showing the value of evidence. Joe joined in September 2026 as the Nature Database Officer and is eager to hear about all the incredible work of the network and support the need for a single source of truth when it comes to nature-based solutions and nature recovery.

Based in Caerphilly, South Wales, Joe sits between the Gŵyr/Gower and Dyffryn Gwy/Wye Valley. He enjoys exploring the forests and mountains of Wales on foot and spends any spare time camping, weather permitting! He also likes to make great food with his family and get stuck into a good board or role-playing game.

Joe has a varied background in data, including digital transformation, geospatial visualisations and surveying. He prides himself on solving problems and creating best-fit solutions that benefit the many.
