Anna Trant
Contractor – Event and Project Manager
Anna has managed a range of events for the National Landscapes community since early 2020. She is a well-known face at, and lynch pin of, our annual conference, alongside running online events for the network. She managed a Defra-funded farming project that fed into the Environmental Land Management and Farming in Protected Landscapes schemes.
Anna grew up in the South Devon National Landscape, leaving to study geology at the University of London. She graduated with an MSc in Basin Evolution and Dynamics, and gained a lifelong interest in the environment along the way. After learning her trade in the UK and internationally, she headed home in 2014 with a renewed love for her native Devon and a desire to protect our natural world. She has a particular passion for sustainable food from local producers, and a keen interest in growing her own fruit and vegetables.
